PSN spoofs leading hmm..

Sorry guys got to go with what is working, and has use beyond the first week in July..

get PSN back and you got my vote .. but for july sorry i feel spoof time was in June IMO.

i'd definitely vote for the gens update for adding sega cd. i can feel music being added by the end of next month. then again, i'm not good with feelings since i'm a dude

At least the PSN enablers still spoof 4.21, preventing accidental console updates, which can be nice.

Other than that, it seems to be a slow month for homebrews, with the exception of the ever present official PS3 GTA IV Mod Team

True, . They got votes for PSN access and the leading apps claims it is a 4.21 PSN Spoof.. When that is somewhat false. Its a 4.20 psn spoof that is spoofed again to 4.21... Without rebug where would they of got the method.. ? to me they don't deserve a prize over some of the other apps. They deserve a big Thanks, and appreciation but not prize money IMO. Unless they plan on donating a portion of the prize to rebug. I say a portion because the did add some things/protection.

I think a new rule needs to be in place to qualify for the monthly prize your app has to be of use for the entire month & as described.. if not no matter how many votes you are disqualified. something to that effect

I think a solution to disable the system update all together, would be a better solution for accidental updates. That to me would deserve a vote as you wouldnt have to wait for a spoofs.. Spoof just add a false sense of security for accidental updates.. because when updated and say you didn't realize sony put out an update this app has no protection.. Just like all the other previous spoofs.

Just my personal opinions.. Please vote How you see Fit, not trying to influence any vote here. .

Great thoughts STLcardsWS, thanks for sharing them. I really like the idea of updating the contest rules; but for instance, in this month, as long as the Spoofing still works, I suppose it would still have to count. We might have to think of a better way to enforce this type of thing. Chances are, if you are sporting a Spoofer, it is the one currently leading this month's homebrew contest, right?

But yes, please, everyone help decide who should win this month's contests for the best developments.

I also have to wonder if there are users oblivious to the contest, who still hit the like button sometimes.

well, besides that instance, has this come up before (as in a program that's become near moot)?

a software update disabler would actually be a great app. it's like a spoofer, but better like you said.
