Article: PSN is down. Update 4.21 is no longer optional FOR CUSTOM FIRMWARE!!!

I am still on 4.20 OFW still letting me sign in and play online with peeps.

So it is not mandatory to update almost a week later if it was i think i would be on 4.21 now don't ya think lol.

Also CFW will not be back on PSN/SEN anytime soon unless they suddenly find the passphrase again which may happen but i am not holding my breath for that. I mean CFW without psn for a year who is to say that while it was brief that is the end of it?

I am curious why people are saying different things is it only mandatory in certain regions maybe?

I mean I currently have 3 PS3's 1 on CFW and 2 OFW the OFW PS3's have never asked me to update.......????

I really don't understand the confusion on this article. I was talking about F*ckPSN and SEN Enablers/Spoofers. None of that applies to official firmware. I fixed the title to try to clarify things

You sir are an a$$hole. BahumatLORD is only a mod for this site, he is not a dev that can get you back on PSN. If you want PSN so badly, then update to OFW 4.21. I am in the same boat as you guys and I am not complaining. I didn't have PSN for over 1 year and it didn't phase me in the slightest.

It's true I'm no dev by any real definition of the word. I consider myself more of a fiddler/tweaker type that will take something and tweak it to make it my own.

If he feels that I need to be his scapegoat for PSN going down that's on him. It's not the first time and I'm sure it's not going to be the last. One of the other mods gave him an extended vacation for that. After I saw it I extended it myself. If I remember right that was only his second comment. He won't be joining us anymore so there's no need to get upset over it.

I appreciate you trying to help and I know that your intentions are good, but insulting people is what got him banned. I'd hate to have to do that to anybody else.

SEN Enabler is currently working with enviroment sp-int, you need an account created before when Sony patch it long time ago

Yes i have Rogero v3.4 spoofed 4.21 and when i try to login he says to update my system :/
