I'm suspecting that keys itself was leaked by no other than E3 team. Figure this - FW 3.60 is lowest possible for downgrade to all new SKU's (300X and latest revisions of 250X), and they DO need to raise up their flasher sales. Later on, when DG patches will be available, they can start selling their new dongle, which, I believe, will be announced shotly after 3.60 CFW hits masses (they could always claim for technical issues, or something else). Now, they just awaiting for dev's input (perhaps they have some skilled already), so hold on for new CFW, lv2diag.self's and DG Patches. The reason keys were dropped out to public annonymously is Crab politics on suing hackers.
Well strategy, indeed. But as long as scene keeps moving, it doesn't really matters whether they plotting something or not.

Lets just hope those keys are out there because someone found a way to get the keys from the PS3.

Most likely those keys were found a long time ago but were never released by fear of Sony's reaction.

So we're able to play 20 more games and our CFW has 60 instead of 55 at the end, talk about improvement ....

Call me a whining bitch or whatever you want, truth deserves to be said.

Progress is progress. Instead of whining you should just be thankful and should just take what someones hard work is giving you.

3.60 did not help. to play3.7+ Games.
BUt weh the 3.60 CFW Works. PSdev can test it on higher FW at the Same Methoth.

Unless the game has a 3.6 update that replaces the EBOOT.BIN and all/any .self files.

If so we should be able to fix the game by modifying the game update.

I have done this with Earth Defence Force: Insect Armageddon EU version and will test if it works later when I get home.

what you're saying makes sense, especially because E3 team is from China and there it's not possible to buy original game even if you wish - i've been to China and there they sell you all PS3 in the store already jailbroken, because of that. however, if E3 team can offer downgrade for latest PS3 models like 300X then that means they hacked "metldr.2" too - that i think is hard to believe, because "metldr.2" was one of the last lines of Sony defense, i.e. make downgrade of the new consoles impossible.

Nah..the 3.60 keys is only useful to enrich the 3.55 CFW with the new 3.60 appldr keys thus making some more games running.

well, i know a lot of people are whining about why they release this so late, well if they try to make a CFW 3.60 it would be a big thing for people with console models 3xxxx, i think some of these consoles can be downgraded to OFW 3.60 (the lowest downgrade possible) so yh a 3.60 CFW is not a bad idea
