Here a UPDATE From Sony By IGN NEWS
audio cd playback is actually quite useful, in my case it was, i had a album that when you put in a cd drive will not rip the audio files to the hard drive no matter what, i put the same cd into my ps3 and it bypassed the copy protection completly i was then able to put the mp3s on my ipod, so a cd feature is still useful to bypass drm on cds, i wouldn't say "who cares?" in any case.
I don't!!!! Who even buys CD's anymore? Digital sales have passed CD sales last year and the gap is sure to get wider! Sure u may have some but still must be a way to rip or download the songs, just drop ur songs on a flash drive n plug it into the ps4! Not surprised at all by this exclusion, should help to keep the price down some as well!
I played maybe a handful of CDs with my PS3. Honestly don't really care.
the only reason i bought a PS3 because of its Blu-Ray player :/ game console and blu-ray it was a great addition that's my thoughts on it
Last time I put in audio CD in my playstation it was a PSX...lol
No CD = no PSX support? whaaa what will I do if I cant play my orig Tomb Raider??? Oh yea I still have my PSX, PS2, PS3 and ePSXe on PC
nvm I dont care much.
