yes... they will have to wait I am not done with them!
Sony DOWN ! WE UP
Gotta go to sleep btw...
I am sure that thing PS4 will be full of protections like the vita.
"PS Vita Remote Play for PS4 (all PS4 games will be playable on the Vita)" so we can use the PS Vita as a substitute for the Dual Shock 4? I thought the Vita didn't had the R2 and L2 buttons. Or I misunderstood this?
I understand not buying it until there is a good selection of games. I will be doing the same. But I disagree saying that the PS3 still has a lot of potential. The guys who made Uncharted, and are currently making The Last of Us said themself that they are really stretching the PS3's limits now and need a new console. PC's CPUs these days can eat the PS3's. PC's graphics cards are also far superior to the PS3's GPU too. The PS3 only has 256MB of system memory and 256MB of memory for the graphics card... PS3 will have 8 GB of RAM. It will have GDDR5. The bus between the RAM and the APU is extremely fast too. Yes, it uses a APU, where the graphics core is built into the CPU. This makes it even faster.

That Watch Dogs and the Infamous Second Son seems pretty incredible. And, I've read that the PS4 will not have that block against used games. Wonder if it is true.
After re-reading the spec, it makes me wonder how an x86 platform is going to be able to access 8GB of RAM. Generally an x86 platform has a limitation of 4GB of RAM regardless of how much memory is installed in the machine. Anything more then 4GB requires a x64 to properly access the extra memory. I can only guess that they are splitting up the RAM, 4GB for PS4 use and the other 4GB for GPU use, and they both are using the same RAM.
But I can defiantly say that in terms of RAM, my PC obviously have a heck of a lot more RAM then a PS4. There is no way it can even touch 128GB of RAM, that my computer have.
But that may not be fair because the PS4 is a console, however it does seems to be like a PC platform, so it could also be a fair game.
Well considering anything over 8gb of ram is overkill when it comes to gaming (by current standards you really only need 4gb) Your not gonna bottleneck 8gb of ram playing games on a system specifically built for it anytime soon.
Computers only need the extra ram for multitasking, say having battlefield 3 running in the background while your watching youtube, decompressing files, and coverting videos all at the same time etc.
All the hype all the suspense and here it is.
One more reason for the rush of PS4 that not many have pointed out is, now we have the LV1 cracked and the ascent of ODEs. Else how many times have we seen in the past 6 years Sony not coming without an update after something pops out from the homebrew side. Its been months since the 4.31 CFW and we are still on PSN. I'm happy that now they have a new console, we will have more freedom on the PS3.
As for the PS4 itself I would no way buy one until & unless there is an Uncharted or a GOW or a GT or a GTA on it and the console is a couple of years old. They might have an 8 core processor and an 8 GB GDDR5 Ram. But how much are they gonna pack into a 1080p resolution game? We already have all the splendid details on our ps3. May be games might load fast, but I don't think there will be a paradigm shift in graphics until & unless we step into 4K resolution territory.
I'm an old school guy and I'm happy with my console. I would rather play Uncharted 3 on a Hard difficulty and say "Yeah! I'm Nate" than play it on Very easy and stream it on FB. Anyways most of my friends on FB doesn't even know who Drake is. LOL. So obviously I don't need the cloud. With my Internet connection breaking up before I play a map in MW3, downloading a 50GB game is a big joke.
It would be atleast a couple of years before I would even think about it. I have all the time in the world & I'm in no hurry. Until then "Long live my PS3 Slim"
Resident Evil Reboot or Remake with PS4 = WIN , Otherwise it sucks that there isn't any backwards compatibility, sucks soooo much !
same here ....

I play ps2 games more often than ps3 games and it's very convenient to have an all in 1 system. Seriously Sony, how hard is it to make 2 separate ps4 models (1 bc and the other non bc) and merge the die of the cell and rsx so it's cheaper to make. Unless you somehow manage to emulate that cell cpu which I would easily see you guys giving up quickly on it. The Gaikai streaming thing wont work for me as I only get 1Mb/s download speed.
Also the ps4 better not have that god dam solder joint cracking problem (ylod) that every ps3 suffers at some point of ownership or else I will never own a sony console again period.
