So Far So Good!!! So far it's a pretty powerful system & the games look awesome! I was really happy to hear that there will be a new Final Fantasy for the PS4 & they hinted something towards Street Fighter as well? (Just speculating) I predict a $399 price point & now I can't wait to see what Xbox team have up their sleeves for E3 - I haven't been this excited for Christmas since I was a kid!

Am I the only one not falling for the Hype?

Look at the vita gunna be a year old in a couple of days and there is no decent gaming line up. Sony even have the good vita games for free on PSN + for people to rush out and buy a vita.

Not knocking down the PS4 but I will not be getting one anytime soon due to the lack of games and development. Hell GT5 comes out on the ps3 in September idk The ps3 is just 6 years old.... why make a newer gen console?

If you guys wanna buy it I am not telling you not to but IMO look at the vita and
"think about it"

Not to keen on the whole social gaming aspect of things. Facebook / Twitter / Youtube sharing etc belong on the PC.

I just want a games console to play good games.

You know they want to push a subscription model and then introduce ads on the console. Ill remain open minded until more is revealed.

oops a little typo in the artical...

"Compatible with PS3 disk but did indicate it will be via the cloud. No details were given on B.C. on PS1 or PS2 disc games. Also it seems like a big focus will be on Social Gaming for the PS4. Friends will be able to view live gameplay from your console. With the press of a new "Share" button the ps3 will broadcast live gameplay to all your friends to see. A friend will even be able to remotely take over the controls in game to finish a difficult part of the game. Check below for more details on these subjects and more. I just want a game console that doesn't die from hardware failure within a year. For this reason, I'll be staying away from both ps4 and the new xbox launch models. Ahh who am I kiddin...

I wont b in a rush to go buy it. It sounded more and more like they were preparing us for a letdown in the cpu department. I think it will be a small improvement on graphics and not alot more. IDK, i think ill end up getting it someday but maybe a yr after its released or something. The new xbox? well ill have to see. I like my 360 and M$ isnt a giant crab so id be more into buying their sys first.

I wont buy a PS4 for a long time. Perhaps until my CFW PS3 dies on me. (might even get another PS3 if that had to happen) I don't like the idea of cloud based gaming, since internet costs are high in the country I live in. So any thought of "streaming" games is a no for me. Time will tell, until then I'm on the fence regarding the PS4.
