I think it's great that some of these classic games are being ported to the ps3. There are alot of great games from the 90's that for the most part are forgotten. I can't help but wonder if it wouldn't be easier to release a utility that will convert a dos game to a ps3 compatible game with some kind of easy to use key configuration utility instead of posting one game at a time. Thanks for the effort but personally I don't care for any of the games that you've posted so far but to each his own. Personally I'd like to easily play games like Discworld and Return To Zork or the old Star Wars games like X-Wing or the original games from the Command & Conquer series without breaking out my 15 year old laptop. I know that DosBox has been ported over to ps3 but the key configuration in the conf file can be confusing for some of the less experienced users out there and I'd like to be able to load the game directly from the XMB with a custom icon and background similar to what PSX2PSP did for the psp with PSX games. Nonetheless good work and hope to see more

Ha! Ha! I'm first! no sloppy seconds for me. You people need to get a life

You know what if you want to play a old game get to work on it yourself. I was already requested Duke Nukem 2D, X Wing, Star Wars, and Discworld.

Don't be stopping your quittin' on our account bub... If it's gonna be just for keeping porting old pieces of crap like this... Seems everyone wants to relase some kind of crap or other to get their 15 minutes of fame and show up somewhere. This would all be over, the prior user's request fulfilled, and not having to deal with rants like yours where you think you're some sort of god or guru for doing a stupid port, the moment someone ports dosbox...

i hope you werent born in 74' walter i would at least expect somebody who has seen the earlier years of games to treat them with a bit more respect. everybody is entitled to their own opinion but games like these are just gems. its games like these that got me into games to begin with. i can understand why some of the younger folks out there dont like these games but its pretty hard to not to look back on these and remember how much fun they are (and after playing them again i can say they are still fun) . personally, i say make more. you dont come across these rare titles anymore, and its great to see them again. i would love to see Duke Nukem 1 and 2 i can still remember how hard i raged in 2 when those little bugger things jumped on you.

Wow.... someone takes themselves way too seriously or maybe they just need a Midol and a pad. I thought I was clear in saying that I'm glad to see classic games making a comeback on the PS3 because they are easier to use on a more modern system. I was just saying that I think it would be more constructive to work on something like DosBox or maybe a good port of Windows 95/98 which can play more than just one game. These games are fine for some but you have to admit that everyone has different tastes. And yes I would do it myself but I think my time is better spent on other matters. This was my first attempt at contributing to the scene hoping that someone with more time and a little more understanding of the firmware and Linux would work on it. As far as the "first" comment I was just f***ing with the guys that feel the need to post first on every post. The get a life comment was directed at them, not you. Take a deep breath, stick some cotton up your hootch and learn to take some constructive advice and maybe even a joke. Stop taking yourself so seriously. They're just ports, not a cure for cancer

Yes I *was* born in 74, and I love old games and have quite a big collection.

That does not mean some are good, others crap. And that's besides the point of some random joe thinking he's superman for doing a port of one of these crappy games... That's why I'm saying, once aport of DOSBOX gets out, there's be no need for this moron to do anybody any "favours"....

Oh and all that's even beside the point that I don't understand why ppl are so anxious to get this stuff on a console when they can just as well play it perfectly on any PC these days...
