    It is another loader which works different internally, compared to OPL.
    It is also the only Homebrew as of now, which supports FireWire and loading games from there,... (even thought the firewire-storagedevice-compatibility isn't that good currently).

    An update: @SP193: You got your own new sub-forum for PS2ESDL! If the SMAP-Driver-Thread should be moved there, just say so... I'm not sure about your status/user-group yet,... (Developer?)

    How can we load a +4GB ISO in a FAT 32 for this to work? Do we need to split the ISO? If yes, what is recommended to use?

    That's what 'USB-Util v2' is there for.

    Edit: The app you linked to is only for PS2ESDL and the format is not compatible to any other loader, but it features things like saving the game-compatibility-modes directly in the file...
