I dont know if it has been posted here before, but it was reported some weeks ago that some Vita games will require memory card.

""The PS Vita will be out soon. Could all hackers commence duties""

Do you think that it is possible to hack the games themself so that you can save directly on them? Honest question.

Yeah, the only difference I saw between this and the previous news post was about Uncharted not being able to save, but that's true of any game with a save function. You need somewhere to save the info to whether it be a memory card or hard drive. I always thought that was common knowledge

Let me correct myself before anyone else needs to. I haven't read up on the vita yet, are you saying that the games are stored on internal memory but they won't let you store a savegame on internal memory?

Some Vita games actually allows you to save directly to the game itself, so no memorcard is needed i those cases. I have no idea why only some games allow this though, if it is due to some techincal reasons or that it is being done as a business decition to sell more memorycards. Games like Uncharted Vita wont even start if you dont have a memorycard.

Are anyone here planing on getting a Vita without a memorycard by the way?

Somebody please explain this to me .__. The memory cards u need to save the game only? So one 4GB memory card should be enough for pretty much anybody right? (given, you dont put media and stuff like that). Or do you also have to install game files like in the ps3?? Because that would just take up too much space and with the price for 1GB thata impossible to afford.

Dont think I'll get a vita but it makes me curious

Yeah, it is the savegame only, there is no game install like PS3. So a 4GB card (if you use it for savegames only) should be more than enough indeed. Some games require a memorycard to work, while other games work fine (and you can save directly to the game card) without using a memorycard.
