Is how all good gaming systems came to be
@RandQalan second that
True, it is Windows and PS3 OS only for now. Support for Mac is said to be on its way. Otherwise you can use a Virtual Machine solution like Tranced mentioned

Not trying to split hairs or be a jerk here, just like people to have proper information. Wine is not a vm. Qemu, virtualbox, vmware are all virtual machines. Wine is different. Virtual machines don't allow application integration into your native os the way wine does.

The price is jacked up so high for "security" - because sony knows they fail. they have to make a shitton of money b4 it gets hacked so, why not make it cost as much as the ps3 lol.
Performance wise, it is not really much worse than the ps3. However the resolution (544p) means textures will be smaller, so read speeds do not need to be as fast as the ps3. Class 10 micro sd reads at over 20 MBps. For reference, the ps3 reads blurays at 2x speed (9 MBps). Micro sd as low as class 6 can guarantee more than that. Performance is simply not a valid reason.

However, the memory cards are not nearly as reasonable. There is simply no way to justify pricing them 3-6x more than micro sd. The performance, even if it is better, is irrelevant, because it won't be used. The only real difference is the logo.
Lol it's like Nike to Reebok. I think I'll go with the Reebok! Those cards will be mass produced soon enough, and way cheaper!!!
