Why couldn't they just simply use the Memory Stick Pro Duo? Why make a new proprietary card that is expensive? Haven't they learned anything?
It's not really shocking, considering prices were announced months ago.
I'll be buying a 4 gb, and waiting for a micro sd adapter for more.

The 3G is the more expensive one. It has both 3G and WIFI. The wifi only model is cheaper, at $249 rather than $299 which is the price of the 3G model.
Completely expected. Sony always overprices the **** out of their storage flash cards.
And to the person who said they should use Memory Stick Pro Duo, of course they should, but they won't because they make more money making something new.
Yeah a lot of other companies will start making the memory cards a lot cheaper. The prices of the memory cards really don't surprise me.
