I'm not I really like this early hacking of the Vita. We should save these finds and not talk about them until Sony releases the hardware in the US and it's too late to change the hardware.
um if u notice its software he is using to exploit not hardware so this key method to open this hidden menu can be disabled or modified before release of vita in U.S with mandatory firmware updates from sony.

that thing works also on a psp, and a ps3
Yup works on PS3 too, just have to hold start button!
You guys are right it does work on the PS3, but you use R1/L1 not the triggers.
i've just tried it on ps3 and it works - it's another story if there is any information on the output that could be useful.

It's not a hidden menu, it's just additional system information that's used by Sony if they have your system to fix it. If anything can be done with said information, I'm sure it's already being looked at or has been for a while.
