The screenshot feature has been there since day 1 (just press the PS button and the Start button at the same time), i wonder why they mention it like it is first coming in firmware 1.80.

@yes159 I don't have a Vita but good point. If it is there, why mention it. Maybe some additional screen capture? I don't know...

It is the game developers themself who choose to enable the screen capture function or not while their game is running. Maybe the guy who wrote about the firmware release made a mistake in mentioning it.

Exactly, seems weird to mention it when it has always been there

It is not a very promoted feature, i first heard about it reading a user post on a forum. It might be mentioned in the Vita manual, but i havnt read that. But even if it isnt something new, i guess that it doesnt hurt to mention this feature now, hopefully more people will know about this feature. If i had read that forum post back then, i probably still wouldnt have known about this feature.

Indeed. Seems like a mistake (that he forgot about it), or they simply wanted to promote the feature more.
