This is actually cool beyond belief.....Here is why....once $ony forces a Vita update you can no longer log on PSN to buy new content (not just the exploited games). With this trick, I can use my CFW PS3 to purchase Vita content and then use this method to transfer that content to my non-updated Vita. That is fricking awesome. I wonder what this would do with a newer game that supposedly requires updated firmware to purchase/run. Also I wonder if there is a way to put non-purchased content on the PS3, fake its singning like ReactPSN does but with a ReactPSN type program for vita content and then transfer it with this method. I have a feeling this trick could lead to bigger things like running Vita homebrew or even unsigned content....I am going to do some playing myself this weekend to see what can be done as I will buy something newer (post 1.81) and see if I can get it to transfer and play on my Vita....woohoo

I was gonna say don't buy new stuff but if you're willing to test it that would be great for the rest of us.

Cool, I missed out on the MBA release. I got the MBA just before they took it off the store but, was unable to transfer it cause they(Sony: the Evil CRAB MONSTER) already black listed it. Now I can see what I've been missing.

You do? Cause I just got the MBA from the store again(*) and loaded just fine. TN menu came right up.
* I deleted the game on the PS3 cause I couldn't transfer and or use it.

I already had gravity crash butnhated the long load and startup time. I had purchased the urbanix 2 pack but $ony had pulled Urbanix. Urbanix was back up and in my download list so I downloaded it and tested this trick and it worked so now i have 2 explioted games. I have a new $20 card to load and then will see if there is something new post 1.81 i can buy and try. From info over at wololo it sounds like a 2.01 exploit is coming this month so the game will be afoot again...lol

Interesting note but for me its seems as though TN-c has been less stable than TN-B was. I have had several lockups and had to do full shutdowns to get out. When i was using tn-b with MHFU on 1.8 i never had any trouble. I have Tn-c setup with urbanix and tn-b with gravity crash going to go back to using B to see if it is better....

I have heard U can play ps1 on eCFW but there is currentlt no sound support. Someone needs to figure out and write a sound driver for the hacked kernel mode. I have seen a guide or two so i think it can be done. Total Newb released his source code with the last TN-C release so hopefully someone will pick up the torch and dev a sound driver and further improve the hack.
As far as ps1 emulation on Vita I had purchased a number of ps1 for my psp/ps3 and the titles look and play well on the Vita so no reason to believe they wouldnt thu the eCFW mode. My favorites are the square games like FF and Chronocross as well as Suikoden and CastleV SOTN. Some ps1 stuff looks dated now but the classics still hold up well.

Blueprint88: I read about it over at wololo.net. some where in the forums there was a discussion about it. Play'em but no sound. Kinda dull
I made some new Forums for PSVita over at http://trading-post.sytes.net:6969/f...orum.php?f=119 and put up the FTP with a alittle guide under it. I had some trouble trying to get the damn thing to show up in eCFW after install. After alot of digging and searching I solved it. Simple Folder structure some ppl FAIL to mention to ppl that are just starting out.

I have 1.80, and not sure how to update to 1.81 safely. Also, can't find a good working link for open CMA. The instructions just point to the openCMA main page which is hosting the newest version for 2.00+ fw, and the older r4 links are dead. Anybody able to help with either?

Links for previous versions can be found at the bottom of the OpenCMA v5 page but I've also added a direct link for v4.5 at the bottom of this article.
