Article: Possible JTAG Port On PS Vita
Article: Possible JTAG Port On PS Vita –
I was kinda hoping that the PS Vita modding scene was moving away from hard mods. But this is some real progress in the last few days! "Excited Face!"
Looking at the pic, that certainly look very well like it could be a jtag port, but I don't think sony is stupid enough to leave an open jtag port on any of their machines because they know that it would be an open door to hackers.
Hardware mod is not good for our warranty. But modding to Android OS (This is my fantasy Android on PS Vita ) would be great. Anyway its a start. I hope it continues...
I also don't think those ports would be that useful.
every bread boards that is powered with CPU ranging from cellphones to routers, consoles and portable console had JTAG. So it's not really surprising if Vita had it.

Because everyone knows it's there and not a way to hack the device? You don't even need to open the vita to see that port...

still if that can be put to use, it would be awesome when worked out, because it could offer a way to unbrick a device completely.
