This reminds me of Streets of Rage from the Genesis days.
i looks identical even the characters i look at this and i think streets of rage / street fighter
Can't wait until its 100% done..I still got my characters and mugen files on my computer so all I'd probably have to do is drag my files over after installing this. And I got like 50+ characters on mine.

(Sigh) I remember MUGEN from a long time ago with people using their big ass character lists looks pretty nice...
I have 500+ characters And Iv been waiting on this since the day homebrew on PS3 started Thx to the devs and keep up the great work
just a few things to let you know
Mugen mode is not 100% - some characters dont work, the ones that dont work atm can be hacked to work
characters that dont work either suffer from incompatibility with the state machine or poor coding/grammatical errors
most can be fixed to work. On the ps3 its random which ones are slow and lag vs which ones dont -- This is being worked on and will be fixed
you can also make your mugen characters paintown characters with editor that is included in paintowns main source I have a tutorial here which explains the process with a video made by jon rafkind and alot of other information.
there is also a character creator contest we have going on right now for the game as well.
I have used the editor to use peter griffin and batman in adventure mode.

elbow = square
LPtoHP= down+square (repeatedly) will preform a crushing low punch and a killing uppercut
MP= square after preforming elbow
HP= square after preforming MP
hardHP = X
uppercut= forward+X after preforming hardHP
kick 2(punch and kick)= circle after preforming kick
kick 3= forward, forward, circle
HP= square after preforming punch
pound= square after preforming HP
fart fireball= down+square
froggy= forward+square after preforming HP
puke= forward, forward, X
