Hey.....so far you don't realize that the logo at the top of the screen says "PSX-SCENE" NOT PS3-SCENE.

Anyway to keep this thread on topic?

    [/Rant off]

If this is better than the Dark Alex FW how would one go about putting OFW back onto the PSP before upgrading to the 6.60 PRO- B9?
Hopefully that is not to much of a noobish question.
I would much rather go to my grave not needing my gun, than go there wishing I had it.

I'm on Prometheus still lol...and I have no issues...I see no reason to update all the way up to 6.60. That's madness. In fact I am so behind in the psp scene I didn't even know the firmware was that high. lol

I didn't see any difference with 6.60 me on my 3000, also pro-b9 has nodrmengine integrated to use any dlc, no plugins required. So, unless it runs 50% faster, i don't see anything better about 6.60 me.

If you have a psp 1000 or 2000 and you're running m33 or Gen/Prom, it is easier and ussually better to just update to CFW 6.60 ME 1.5. I did it today and it took about 5 mins. Its a lot less steps then going to a Pro version and its more true to the m33 features you are use to. Its also a permanent CFW. The main advantages of modern CFW over m33 is not having to patch PSP ISOs, being able to use other people's save game files, being able to get on PSN without a plugin, and of course all the newer PSP features 6.60 offers. If you have a 2000 is also unlocks more memory for homebrews.

I have a PSP 1000 on 5.50 GEN-D2. Is there any reason for me to update to this CFW or does the CFW I already have offer more capability?

Well I would recommend to upgrade is more compatible with game don't have to patch them and has 3 different iso cso drivers but if all your games work
It is totally up to you but you can access PSN and PSX games are really high compatibility also

    V10 SCPH-50001 with Network adapter SCPH-10281 500 G HD
    PSP 3000 9G 6.20 PRO CFW Perm
Unofficial FMCB v1.8C OPL self compiled HD and SMB preferred
Is how all good gaming systems came to be
