naehrwert very nice.. cant say this means anything to me, more like NOT... but either way very stimulating.. Its REALLY weird.. seams like GOD gave the gift to either really greedy ppl who wanna make money.. or just straight out AHOLES who when confronted by oppasition head for the hills like the chicken that crosses the road 4 no damn good reason.. the joke is always gonna be "why did he RUN?"

I don't understand his concern with piracy. People are pirating whatever they want right now ans will keep doing so until they want to stop. By not releasing let's say something that could lead to a new cfw higher than 3.56 is kinda selfish because u think ur helping us but really ur hurting people on OFW because there the ones that can't play there emulators or hombrew. With all that being said I do thank him for sharing his knowledge on this subject.

cubano1401: When you open up a system completely, piracy will be much more rampant. Piracy on PS3 at this point is basically limited to people who have a dongle (except for old games) and that are on firmware 3.55.

There is also the question (at least i'm wondering about it) if CFW higher than 3.55 is possible, especially for those who are on OFW higher than 3.55. If CFW 3.55 is required to get a higher CFW version, then there really isnt much point to release anything more regarding homebrew. The only reason would be to play newer games, but since it is CFW, it will most likely mean more piracy.

Piracy is an unfortunate side effect of legitimate back up tools. I will admit I do pirate but I still go out and buy the games I enjoy because I want to be able to play more like it.


as for future CFW well it would only seem logical it would be able to install over newer firmwares if it comes to that but that really doesn't matter right now as such software is a long ways from being put out.,
