nope i have tried i put a dvd in the drive it indeed does load but when you try to start the game you get an error my drive still reads DVDs lol i want to play mah games its driving me mad

You can change it in the options_default.ini change the default from 1 to 0 for direct boot option.

i go on the disc after i get taken to xmb but AC1 still wount work it exits the game

Wutang/Geohot is the best firmware in my opinion. I don't freeze, I actually run any hombrew or any backups I've thrown at it.
