WOW! I made first!
Anyway, great to see this update. I thought removing the lv2 stuff from 1.13.01-.04 was a step back. Great to see it again! Keep up the great work!
So how do I change a theme ? I click themes, wii black......i see some files changed color, but I go back to the GAMES tab and no theme changed.......still w/ the original. ALSO: how do I stop the background music? TIA
Another thing, I backed up Modern warfare but the server gave me the cover from MW2.......how do I manually change covers/pics so they can properly show when browsing my games? good manager.....keep it up.......
I don't think there's a way to shut off the music yet. As far as the cover goes, there's nothing you can do. The cover is coming from their server so that's a mess up on their end. You'll just have to wait till they fix that or implement an option where you can upload your own cover.
so how can it work on geohot's CFW? will it have the same affect as kmeaw's?
MultiMAN is an excellent backup-manager, but there are still two major additions to MultiMAN’s functionality which are needed (in my opinion). First, is the ability to run backup PS3 games without a BluRay disc loaded in the optical drive, and second the ability to load PSX and PS2 titles from the internal hard drive. Given the nature of the PS3 CFW scene, and the frequent updates to this program, hopefully such functionality will soon be implemented into MultiMAN.
This isn’t in anyway a complaint about MultiMAN; to my knowledge no backup manager can fully do these things yet. Who knows, perhaps MultiMAN will be the first.
Honestly, I don't think its that big of a deal to keep a disc in the drive. I'm eventually trading all of my discs, except Castlevania: LoS. Reason being is its the special edition and I want to keep it all together, so keeping the LoS disc in won't be an issue for me. Just keep your favorite game.
For PS2/PSX emulator capability, a dedicated emulator would be needed. MultiMAN alone is not enough.
#1 - I believe you can go into multiman via ftp and either remove the mp3 or music file and it wont play, or ftp in your own - make sure extension name is the same (.mp3 or whatever it is)
#2 - You can add your own covers if there is one you like better then the other. The cover has to be the same image size (pixels not file size), so ftp one back to your desktop, look at its properties/details, make your own, rename it to the exact file name and format of the one you are replacing + it has to be all in CAPS, ftp it back in! Be aware that when you delete multiman to install a newer version, you have to replace the file again. I don't believe that is the case when you install over it though.

*SIDE NOTE* If anyone's got AC I working on 3.55CFW Gaia/Multiman PM me! Thanks
This is great...
But have to use a disc in the drive is really a bad thing in my opinion.
First because some people have their bd-player broked, some just prefer to not use the disc to "economize" the bd-player (like me). And I dont know... I dont like so much the idea to have a disc all the time in the driver, BUT I think its not a big problem to just put the disc before use multiman.
If it can be a solution to remove ALL the freezing problems (except for the cases of uncompatible games) so I think it is really a good news... but if even with this, I keep having lockup issues, so I dont think its a big deal.
Ill give it a try... and I hope to nove have any kind of issues. Also I hope to this one be updated with a version that do not ask a disc in the drive.
well ive tried pretty much everything but I am still getting the resident payload error. Any help guys? i have no clue what i am dooing wrong. thanks in advance, sorry for the hassle. I am running geohots 3.55 cfw. shoul i just update to a different cfw? I ripped blackops from my disk, but it wont load on 1.13.0. that was the only version that did not give me the resident payload error. games still wont load anyway. I havent patched lv2 yet, could that be the problem?
Cheers
Draco
