how can i play iso no matter how i doit it doesn't work only giving me black screen and i want to play syphon filter real bad.
Try converting the ISO to BIN/CUE format. I have had issues on a few PS1 ISOs but when in BIN/CUE they workhow can i play iso no matter how i doit it doesn't work only giving me black screen and i want to play syphon filter real bad.
The BD mirror lock up issue on 3.55 CFWs persists. In fact, it's not just BD mirror.
Iso loading for PSX works great though.
EDIT: the bd mirror problem appears to be a timing issue in the XMMB. If you scroll down and immediately choose a game set with bd mirror from the XMMB, mm locks up. But if you wait a few seconds then choose the game, it works fine. Still, this was never an issue before and bears looking at. Maybe something of a loading time difference between 3.55 and 4.21 CFW.

now i know why people keep asking how to view covers. i just tried it out and they don't show up in the retro column. i thought maybe i did something wrong, but then i decided to browse the hdd viewer of the column and go to the games manually and the ones that showed, had a cover.
so, has anyone gotten covers to work under the PSXISO folder? if you got them to show up but have them under PSXGAMES, can you use subfolders and have that show up under the retro column yet? when i first set up the folders i used PSXGAMES but they wouldn't show up under the retro column.
any help is appreciated.

The format that I have is PSXGAMES with subfolders of games. Now from there
any cover that I have is named for the folder of that game
game.bin
game.cue
game.jpg
From what I'm noticing and this is only my opinion. I think it depends on the actual file of the cover. For example, Since I have a Multi-track file bin/cue for the game Coolboarders 2 it shows all track file bin/cues in the retro column
Coolboarders2.BIN Track1
Coolboarders2.BIN Track2
My game cover doesn't show up until the file Coolboarders2.BIN Track 12. Yet in another folder I have NFL BLITZ with multiple tracks, but this time the cover shows up in Track 1. My guess would be to maybe try to find a PSX Hi-res cover pack and try to work with that.
Also Deank, I had a suggestion. I was thinking the other day of my dilemma of always having to reset the PS3 after playing a PSX game or quitting just about any game thats being ran through StealthMan? And then it hit me, why not implement an IGR (In-Game Reset) that could somehow return you to StealthMan? I love your program but I just feel as though that I shouldn't have to cold boot every time I want to play something else. Thanks in advanced buddy.
i take it you can't have subfolders in PSXISO if you want covers?
like i said, i mostly have the format right cause if i browse hdd's, i can see the cover in there, just not in the retro column. @bryanhayeszo , so do games that have subfolders in PSXGAMES show up in the retro column now?
i think another good suggestion would allow us to push triangle on any game in the retro column and then choose what system we want. pushing square and waiting is kind of annoying. that's just a minor inconvenience though.
Only a few of them. I really wish Multiman can just take subfolders with multiple files and just display them as one ISO/BIN/CUE file shortcut on the retro tab, It would make everything much more organized. It works for one game ISO's but if you have a multiple game every single file appears except for the corresponding jpeg file for each game.@bryanhayeszo , so do games that have subfolders in PSXGAMES show up in the retro column now?
alright . Let it be in English.
Deank thank you for your work![]()
