If you run Showtime through MM , will you also be able to watch movies off a NTFS drive ??

@NeoFuture
You need to change the settings in MM and choose Bubble (PSN Style) install method, instead of the standard XMB. Then you use the install PKGS inside MM. It will reboot your ps3 then you will see a bubble with MM icon, press triangle, choose install and there you go. I suggest installing MM install PKGs pkg as it lets you prepare multiple pkgs at the same time, and you dont need to enter MM to use it (though you will need it to install it)
@ lguarda
NTFS games do not boot. It only make it easier for you to use a ntfs drive to copy files, no need to split files with ntfs, and no need for the layperson to find the device id of the external and edit the usb.cfg file anymore.
I believe the biggest limitation is that the GAMEOS cant read NTFS (a microsoft proprietary file system) so once MM exits to XMB, or tries to load a game, it would no longer be able to read the drive as it would rely on GAMEOS not MM
Either a background process would have to be run by MM to keep drivers loaded, or something would need to be integrated at FW level to give it NTFS capabilities. Which I believe was tried at one point but failed. Maybe Rogero or Rebug could implement it.

Hi,
I need a help, I was happy to hear about full support NTFS but still I can't figure out my HP pendrive. I've got 32GB NTFS pendrive and multiman still can't see it. I also have external USB hard drive and it works like a charm. Any idea about this stupid pendrive?
Thx in advance

Everyone that uses MM should send a donation to DeanK. He is always improving his product, unlike a lot of game publishers. Thanks DeanK! Also, please post how you would like donations to be sent for development.

@cyto Good suggestion
but you forgot to include the link: tinyurl.com/donate4MM
@Jay-Jay yes, this build fixes the USB issue in CFW 4.x. It also improves BD-Mirror games (eg. now PS3_EXTRA menu is available for BD-Mirror games)
@PSJack Showtime does not support the NTFS driver, but once the movie is cached (transferred) to the internal HDD, it will play normally.
@lguarda NTFS feature is only for data transfer to/from the internal HDD. Games will not boot from NTFS drives.
