Really incredible the speed of these updates gets out
I dont have enugh games to fill up the internal HDD so I won´t be using external.
Awesome news! But does this also mean Multiman can finally load PS3 games externally from the NTFS HDD? Or am I still required to copy it into the Ps3's HDD??
Really a deal breaker on this one.
tried to grab the full package from sendspace and because its over 300 mb it gets truncated... althought send space says its 296mb for some reason its trying to download 305 mb
Neofuture.. don't download the little accelerator thing on sendspace.. uncheck the box below the download now button.
Yeah i did I'm on osx i don't get that accelerator, but did on a windows pc just, ill try and download it later
All I have to say is, "Wow!"
I am wondering if this fixes the ongoing issue with those with higher CFW, where they can't have more than one USB HDD connected when they try to run a game?USB Ports issues:
When using more than one USB device mM will disconnect/reconnect them from/to the USB bus in the proper order
This fixes games that crash when started from USB when multiple devices are connected
Oh, man! Multiman is the greatest backup manager for PS3 ever! I mean, there isn't a single rival these days. So, this NTFS mode new feature, is only possible if using 4.xx CFWs? Can't i enjoy these new features using 3.55? Still, i have no idea how to make a dump of my PS3's NAND using mM, and i don't know if it has any risk of bricking. Can anybody help me on this? Thank you. And thank you deank, for your magnificent backup manager.
Dont believe that it will load games on NTFS still, but you dont have to find your device id and enter it which make it easier for the layperson that doesnt know how to find it. It still probaly has the issue that the PS3 does not recognize NTFS to allow it to continually run the game outside of MM. That would probably take a Firmware level change. Maybe pose that to Rogero or the guys at Rebug?
WOW though! How does one man do it all. Those are all kick A$$ updates as far as I am concerned. Make NTFS easy to use, better game compatbility wit USB mirror, no need really for BD reset anymore it seems, better compat with multiple drives, more covers, how does DeanK do it all?
So its not clear wether it will boot NTFS games? Anyone tested that could answer this question? By the way thank you deank u make the scene better each day, was waiting for the USB fix and congratz for the bd-mirror improvement
