This is indeed great news it will be interesting to see if 4.21 keys will be released because of this or if they were not used perhaps released thanks to this if so it will be interesting to see how many people choose to still stick with 3.55
well, it's interesting how exactly did they pull of 4.21 cfw.
i'll hold on to my doubts for now, though.
Remember the past with 3.41 to 3.55. It may need to mature a bit before its worth upgrading. Because i doubt you can go back unless you have a flasher..
Also this is not Deank CFW so if there is always the possibility of details changing.

Is this a modified 3.55 with a higher set of keys, or a modified 4.21 OFW from scratch?
It's strange it cannot be installed on a higher firmware than 3.55.
I hope it doesn't require extra hardware.
can't wait to see ^_^
Hmmm...on 4.21CFW, change the PARAM.SFO to 3.55, playing a game that just came out YESTERDAY in the United States....
No qualms here.
Its actually not that strange why it cant be installed on higher firmware than 3.55. CFW 3.55 is only possible because a bug that Sony did. This bug allowed people to find out the private encryption keys, so they could sign firmware like it is official. Sony fixed this bug in firmware 3.56. Now it is not possible to sign things like it is official on firmware 3.56 (or maybe 3.60) or higher.
My guess is that someone have decrypted OFW 4.21 and managed to repacked it somehow with the 3.55 keys. This is why it is only possible to install it on firmware 3.55.
am I the only one that noticed that mM won't work for Red Power/Blue Disk 4.21 CFW?
I still think the video, might be bogus, just too many things look fishy on it.
The clock rolling back 2 minutes from 5:44 to 5:42, the prompt for param.sfo which seems to say that the game may be 4.21 but MM sees the system as running 3.55, and the fact that MM is named "Genji Days of the Blade" after loading DOA 5. Yes they could be all "side affects" of the new CFW but that is an odd list of side affects.
I think the story would seem more legit without the video. There may be a 4.21 CFW in the works and I am all for it, even requiring a dongle (for the unlock, not DRM) would be fine to me if it unlocks all games and homebrew like old mod chips. I just don't think this vid is good proof, or any proof at all. Doesn't even seem like proof as 4.21 game running on 3.55 cfw, more like after loading the game in 3.55 CFW the component cables were switched on the back of the projector to another powered on ps3, that was on 4.21 debug fw running the game.
