I have a slim 320g is brand new CECH do i need this?
Great app, I've seen a lot of people on here asking for this exact app. should be a good addition, keep up the good work!
Well, that a great news!!! But everybody now waiting for another solution - running homebrews without Blu-Ray (or maybe marrying not matched drive boards and motherboards). Thanks, Jaicrab, and I hope, you will find a solution
Blu-Ray , cool app thanks
can i use this new lv2l for playing backups without a insertet blu ray?
Mmmmm.... this means that can I clone (or rip) a COMERCIAL Bluray (game or movie) in a regular DVD ??? or a regular bluray PC burned?
A 256NAND console - wich lose the bluray playback - can play whatever bluray , at any region ???
Yeah if this leads to breaking region locks that would be GREAT!
man people are stupid. "this ignores your PS3'S Blu-Ray drive. What this means, consoles with a broken or missing Blu-Ray drive can now use LV2Diag.Self to ENTER SERVICE MODE AND DOWNGRADE and 256MB NAND PS3, are no longer at risk for losing Blu-Ray movie playback.

This has nothing to do with BLU-RAY playback. This is for people that do not have a FUNCTIONING BLU-RAY DRIVE in their PS3 which is REQUIRED in order to do updates. This patch REMOVES that requirement. Nothing else.
