Too bad it's mapped by hardware and uses the CBE key.. The PPU also runs it protected in both modes. The only possibility is memory corruption in the SCC ring or lv0ldr or lv0 itself.
In 3.60+ it's even more protected cause they put more of the chain in protected LS instead of PPU.
This exposes LS external-DMA procedures and keys, which were mostly already known.
