does it mean bd-drive pairing is effectively reverse-engineered now with EID algorithms known? will it be possible to change the corresponding EID data and repair any bd-drive to the motherboard? is it known how bd-drive is authenticated based on the pairing information?

Hi guys.
Could somebody help me find tools for creating ps3 dynamic themes.
I now there are few....but don't know which to use.
Is there any tools for mac OSX to create themes?Just wondering.
Anyway I'm a graphic designer and painter and honestly I'm not seeing a lot of good themes so i decided to make some really cool themes project for the ps3.
So if anyone could help it will be honored whit a ps3 theme.

What does this have to do with CEX to DEX?

On topic. I'd wait for the pros to play with this before trying anything. As of right now, I see no benefit to doing this. Great work though guys!

I'm surprised there has not been reports of hundreds of brick by now.

Everyone is gung-hoe when it comes to speculating what they may or may not lead us to and talking trash about the developers who even released the tools, but no one is smart enough to actually convert their console (except for a few people who see no need in doing so). I'm sure someone will eventually try, but until then it's the normal cry-baby scenario.

I have a couple of YLOD ps3's.
I think I will eventually fix one of them and try this out.
I don't really have any use ATM for a debug ps3 but it is always fun
to check out new things.

Guys what actually gives to everage Joe conversion of PS3 from CEX to DEX even if it is possible to do? Will Backup managers work? Actually in theory DEX should run any piece of code,but is it really so?
