I'm still confused about One thing. If i upgrade my ps3 from CFW 3.55 to any of the 4.21/4.30 CFW will i lose any data? And if i downgrade back to 3.55 using 999 downgrader?

I'm thinking rebug 4.30 is just a regular cex cfw Like Rogero... Hence them saying "standard". 4.21.2 is a Rex build... Meaning it has all those extra DEX options (most don't use) ... So in other words 4.21 has more features while 4.30.1 can play 4.30 games without fixes.

No your not going to lose any data and your probably not going to want to go back...there's nothing 3.55 offers over these new firmwares. Just the fact you don't need to search for fixes to play your games makes 4.30 CFW a whole lot better than 3.55.

Be aware of rebug 4.30.1 i installed it and went through a heap of trouble with it.
I tried numerous multimans and whenever i would select a game through multiman to play, when multiman semi restart the console it would go to a flashing red light and there it would stay.
When i tried to downgrade it i couldn't either the 999 downgrader just kep coming up with corrupt file ,
I ended up useing rogero 4.25 to 3.55 downgrader which work from System recovery menu I then installed rebug 3.55.2 back on system then went back to
Rebug 4.21.2 Rex and it is working like a charm
Maybe not everyone will have same problem but i can tell you I was in panic station for a good few hours trying to get it backto normal and working

Use the latest multiMAN.. It has nothing to do with REBUG firmware.

Also I have just woke up.. Someone has ****ed with something.. I do not even have permission to access the files via FTP..

My apologies.. I will try to get it sorted out asap..

I am still on Rogero 3.55 and finaly want to update.. but first I would like to make a linux partition.. What do you guys think is best linux distro for ps3? What are the main advantages for the REX firmware? I would like to have a lot of options, just to play with.. so thing REX would be best then.. Does anybody knows a linus distro where I can use a Bluetooth keyboard? I am going to use a new HDD so I have some more space.. what is the normal amount to use as linux partition?

Really love to see this Rebug firmware! Finaly I got the courage to take a step to the next level! Thanks to you guys!
