PS2 Classics DO NOT WORK ON DEX. Flash back your original EID0 and switch back to CEX mode.

Works now. I don't know why it didn't work earlier :/ Update history: 4.21.1->4.21.2 (PS2 Classics doesn't work) -> 4.30.1 -> 4.21.2 (PS2 Classics works)

i am totally new to this firmware...changed directly frm rogero 4.30 v2.03 to rebug 4.30.1...i installed the rebug toolbox too..my question is when i go to toolbox and when i go under CEX/DEX options, it says no cex/dex functions available..pls install rebug firmware to enable the features...hw to make that work?? am looking for fakesave data option and stuff..any help wil b much appreciated

Well CEX/DEX switch is only available on the REX firmwares. To turn on the fake save, go into the Rebug Toolbox. Under the 'selector' tab change the 'debug menu type' to dex. Exit Rebug Toolbox. Go under the 'settings' tab and go all the way to the bottom. It'll be in the 'debug settings'

Try with PS Vita OFW 2.02.

Wait, why should I upgrade the Vita FW if it's the PS3 with the CFW crashing?
Plus, I'd rather not upgrade the OFW in my Vita, yet.

My PS3 is CECH-2008A, till yesterday I was on kmeaw 3.55cfw, then installed REBUG 3.55.4 REX Edition, just to play bought PS2 Discs. But, it just shows a blank screen whenever I load any PLAYSTATION 2 Disc.
I tried to make ISO via multiman, then tried to play that ISO, it says that i need COBRA-USB to play ISO.

So, is this still needing COBRA-thing or am I losing something to play PS2 titles, or this "FIXED – Bug with PS2 Backwards Compatibility" is only made for PS2 titles bought online from PSN, not the "Discs"??
Some PS2 titles show cover in multiman, some only flashes blue-golden discs.

One more thing to tell, I'm now on multiman 04.18.00(installed today), but also tried all this stuff on 04.17.04.

Also, on REBUG XMB, When I load REBUG-Toolbox, it loads fine, but when I load it from Multiman, it also stuck on a black screen.
Rest of my PS3 titles(3.55 patched) working fine.
Please help me out....I have a good collection of PS2 discs....

@Danyal, I think you misunderstood this update. This only fixes a bug where PSN bought PS2 Classics will play. You still have to get the PSN versions where you install them and run them from your XMB.

This update has nothing to do with original PS2 game discs or original PS2 backups.
