finally![]()
Well done KaKaRoTo, glad to see one of the old time members around here still doing something!![]()
Awesome!
As I think it's more likely to be noticed/answered here than in the other thread, I hope no one minds if I copy/paste my previous question from the other thread. If not, I'll not be offended if the post is deleted.
" Don't anyone get too excited yet. This seems to just be an update in a lengthy process for now. More or less a claim of "yes, it can be done, do not despair, and stop stressing, it can happen". Patience is the key, unless you think you can help, then by all means do take a crack at it.
If I'm wrong, then strike me down, but please, let's not blow this out of proportion for now.
Though, if there's any chance kakarotoks or someone familiar with any finer details of his method is reading this thread, can this method potentially be applied across the board, on all systems in the same manner, or is it a specific algo for each system? Because I've seen a bit of waxing and waning on the methods of approach from different sources, and many may require a bit of knowledge and... let's say capacity... that a lot of the target audience, simply put, do not possess.
So I guess my real overall question is, barring a major leak or fantastic oversight, who truly believes they hold the "keys to the castle" as it were? I'm seeing great progress and fantastic steps in the right direction, but whatever happened to SPU reverse engineering? Could have been quite fruitful. "
Well done KaKaRoTo make it happen......
Kakarotos is the man as always..
Finally someone has figured out how to fight back at the Crab. Just hope no one there will mess with him. Basically, like I have said before when Sony went after anyone who accessed Their PS3:
"It is our property. As long as we dont do anything wrong, we can do whatever we want with the equipment We legally purchased and should not be told what we can or can not do with it since it is Our property.".
Also, I am still laughing at what they said about Geo that he ran a unauthorized program on his PS3 and Illigally accessed his PS3. Hhhhmmm. Lets look at what statement shall we: On his PS3 and Accessed his PS3. Since it is his and he didnt sign any actuall paper legal document, Sony shouldnt have been able to to get him.
If Sony does go after Kakaroto and/or anyone else who releases a CFW, that point should be made very clear. Really hope this works as expected. Good luck Kararoto and other great Devs.![]()
will i be able to play backup games if not what will i be able to do with this???????????? well done good joob.....
