Finally the development of CFW will be compartmentalized. No more one group doing all the work and falling short. Hopefully this will turn out like the PSP scene with plugins. Now plugins for those games that require higher firmwares. That will be shear awesome. My problem will be downgrading so I can install this.

The title of this post is deceptive. There is nothing showing a PSX backup running from the HDD. Just one running from a disc, a method that is already pretty much mainstream. (Though I can't get Spyro 3 Greatest Hits to work. Can't figure it out personally.) Anyway, I'm sticking with kmeaw as this really doesn't offer much new right now.

This JFW really looks like it's gonna be the scene's saving grace, unless DemonHades is playing us all. Either way, One thing wasn't cleared up yet : Do you need a Cobra dongle, or any other dongle, or soldering, or installing a chip, or anything other than installing the Firmware, for that matter?? Because I ain't very resourceful.

some earlier videos I've seen showed the use of dongle, but they state that in the final no dongle will be needed
