Good news is so refreshing :-) awesome job!
I hope multiman will do the same!
Lol @ indirect76.
So does this work on Kmeaw 3.55?
I've read that some people are making a mistake with this.
Let me clarify. When you grab and patch your ps1_emu.self
DO NOT replace it with the one on your PS3. Instead you suppose to copy the patched file to the following directory below: (leave your original file on your PS3 alone.)
Copy ps1_emu_patched.self to Iris Manager folder (/dev_hdd0/game/IMANAGER4)
Now you know! Spread the word!
I've tested this and works fine on Kmeaw 3.55. Good job!
Hopefully deank can add this new feature to multiMAN.
It was quite clever to patch the emulator's self file. Wow! I would have never thought of that.
I know, I might have sounded a bit like your English teacher, but this is just one easy rule to know. When you look at German, there are often much more complicated rules. And if you look at how many Germans write nowadays, you think they just copied English grammer and the ...'s / ...s rule using it in German. It's like I had written "some times" or "now a days". You get crazy![]()
Ok...so I decided to give this a try. All I did was follow the instructions to put psx games on the harddrive in the correct folder and since I did not have Iris installed before, I did so now. The games show up but they do not play. I never replaced any ps1_emu files, however I did not move any patched ps1_emu files to any other folders either. Are you saying I should have?
I'm seeing the step I missed now....will report back if that worked
