i tested this on NTSC and it seems to be working ok. the only thing not working is the health warning text did NOT change to say Modded Firmware: 4.21 ICE Edition or whatever it says in the video posted. I also had to run the installer multiple times.

Order of install was.
1. Install all-in-one installer 1.5.pkg
2. boot mod installer chosose modded_xmb (here is where it was werid it only backed up 7 or 8 files then started copying, it was VERY slow. at about 4% it jumped to 100 and told me success. I then rebooted to find the XMB catagories not renamed and most things in wrong language.
3. I then when to then install packages section under network (which had no text name just an ICON) and went to PSN content and installed the US language pack along with the Extra Content pack.
4. I then went back to xmb mod installer and installed the language pack. I thought this would be it but apon reboot catagories were still not modded and package manager still had no title.
5. I then manually applyed the Phat theme which changed my icons but the catagories were still default names as well as other mentioned bugs.
6. so in a last resort i went back into the xmb mod installer and installed the modded xmb again. This time it backed up 86 files like in the video and it also seemed to copy more albiet still just as slow, but it didnt "jump" like last time. I then rebooted and went back to xmb mod installer and installed the lauguage pack AGAIN. in the same fashon it seemed like it copied more files. After this i did a reboot

7. Success..?

It seems like everything is working except for what i mentioned about the health and safety. I"m thinking they dont have a translation for that or something? it seems to me like sometimes the all-in-one installer doesnt copy all files. its like i had to apply it multiple times to make sure it copied everything. One other note I can only get apps to install in the games section unless i use the PSN content packages supplied by Ice-man. example: if I install rebug toolbox (default) from rebug.me it installs under Games. If i use the one supplied by ice-man it goes under tools. same with installing packages. i figured all the different install methods was to get the pkgs to install where you want. i.e. Homebrew (tools) would show up under tools. This doesnt seem to be the case. Or did the installer not copy some files over or something. how do you assagin where a pkg installs to? other then the above mentioned "issues" it works on NTSC 256 NAND Phat

So with all these new CFWs, sorry for the Noobish question, but which of them are the best? Right now on Rebug 3.55 and have all the new CFWs that were released. Playing it safe than sorry. US 60GB BC PS3

rebug is the best cfw at moment, that's the point i have modded it. new video shows all customizations

That's true and install like a charm in my slim NTSC with rebug rex 4.21.1 Thanks IcEmAn. But I have some problems like albinoman887 said with this new version 1.5.

I tried to download and install your first release for Rebug but the site was in German (i think) and couldn't understand the instructions. Keep up the good work though. I will try out the 1.5 version now that I see some one sort of has it working. I think I will fiddle with it to see what the main differences between the install of the NTSC and PAL version does.
Really glad to see some people putting in an effort to make Rebug even better.

the mod works only in rebug/retail mode. i have testet on dex, the category names are only correct on cex. french and polish language packs are in work.
