damn. i was hoping for like in-xmb showtime support or something kinda like multiman. i don't think so, but has someone done that yet? i'd love for me to be able to somehow browse non-natively supported files on xmb and have them play through showtime.

i like both players for each reason. showtime has better compatibility and features (subtitles, etc.) but the native player has a better fast forwarding and hd support. i like streaming to the xmb player but showtime is just more convenient to plug in a hard drive and just play; you don't have to worry about the network fudging or having a video lag.
