This is really old, the title is a lie, andThat's not true.also from what ive read, Sony's Memory Card Adapter does convert PS1/PS2 to PS3 save files, but when you want to tranfer them back, they become corrupted.
very possible it become corrupted on fake memory cards.
now if only we can get ps2 to work on non-bc ps3's without cobra
i've pretty much gotten most of my psx games up to speed where i was. i just really wanna play a ps2 tony hawk :/
Yes it is possible it become a corrupted, not only the fake cards.
I was transfered my ps2 save files on usb drive for make a backup.
When I transfer back to other memory card or same MC, it become corrupted.
And it corrupted my MC's file system.
My only chance is having a format mc program...
eh? Really? It's always worked fine for me.
Never had one problem with my adapter swapping from PS3 to PS1/2 ever and I use it a lot and it is much easier then this method.
lol this post is a bit funny ...
A few months ago we had something called "PS3MCA" which allows you to read PS2 memory cards straight from a PC without need a PS2 or PS3.
It was announced on this very site and was developed by members of the PS2 forum ...
And by any means THAT was the only REAL reverse engineering.
Not this where you use the PS3 to unlock the PS2 memory card and transfer the data using FTP...
i made a tutorial like this on 5-25-12 stating this exact thing
http://psx-scene.com/forums/f177/tut...daptor-103436/ (Tutorial: ps2 .psu saves to ps3 internal memory card without a memory card adaptor)
edit...although i only covered ps2 section
