Just posted on the Gitbrew twitter: "It's better then having piracy running though. Even for legal purposes. there ARE flags to do this however. We won't be doing it." I totally understand their logic and I'm just thankful they released as much as they already have. But, I do side with those who have hundreds of PSN games and DLC who just want to reactivate and use it again. No doubt, releasing those QA flags that re enable DLC will most certainly be abused en masse, but I say it's high time we start a new trend in the scene where we put that choice in the USERS hands. Isn't doing what we want with our console why we're all here in the first place?

let us chose there are tons of people like me i guess who would like to reactivate DLC and psn stuff .

So... I went kmeaw > special pup > qa_flag.pkg > kmeaw, no Service modes involved, and I lost act.dat, on a CECH-2004B.

Now I need to copy the backup I made on my computer every time I turn on the PS3 to earn trophies and such. Anyway to correct this already?

Nope, because the fix would enable piracy for everyone. Sorry mate. You either have to live with copying ACT.DAT every start-up, or update to 3.66 in order to reactivate. Pathetic isn't it?

Trophies? I lost my act.dat, well actually lost my sub act.dat with a Rebug flash before this QA business, but I had backed up my main accounts act so I still have it..bleh I'm ranting. My point is I lost things but I can still earn trophies even on the sub that I didn't have a backup of my act..Hmmm. And also on my main, sometimes don't bother with copying my act and just playing something, no trophy problems whatsoever on either account.

Oh, cmon. These half-baked morons caught mathieulh's syndrome already? Yeah, you bet it's pathetic. How about these guys actually let the user make his own choice, instead of acting like ****ing cyberpolice? Geez, this attitude is even worse than Sony's!
I don't wanna update to 3.66 and lose all the good stuff I have now and return to the evil crab's claws. Lose mkv playback, backup managers and backup protected saves without that stupid plus only online cloud? No thanks.

Mmm... I'll have to delve deeper in this problem when I have the time, and check what has really been affected by all this QA stuff. Right now I gotta concentrate; there's a Physics-Chemistry exam next week and I gotta study.

if i were you i would try the data transfer thing that is listed on here some place that says you can do the data transfer if you can spoof the CFW system to the legit systems FW should solve it i would think not 100% sure tho

as long as you didnt have some thing crazy like a 500 GB internal (like i do lol) full of PSN stuff you should be able to have a friend help you by providing the legit system
