Where is the E3 news GaryOpa mentioned that he would bring last week? The news regarding higher firmware than 3.55.

I'm not accusing anyone here just to point that out first, but out of curiousity, can anyone here honestly say that they went out and bought this game now that this patch is available?

I bought it before the patch came out i bought the game when it first came out . I liked the game it give something to do when not wanting to play the RPG and so on .. i think the game has a good concept :P plus its a bonus my kids like to play it to good family time

But then you bought it to play it on OFW, right? I'm not sure that many people who have PS3 CFW only waits for the patches to come before they buy the games.

I never said I didn't. Only time you'll see me bitch about it is when people are asking others to help them do it. What people do on their own is their own business but it kinda irritates me when people ask others to help them figure out how to do it.

I just mean that assuming that someone are using a pirated copy when they say they will play the game now because of the patch most likely isnt that far fetched. You admitted that you woould do it, and i dont think you're the only one here that would do it. But i agree that accusing people without proof isnt needed.

you missed what I was saying altogether or you're just effing with me. If people don't understand piracy laws for where they live and don't know how to do it safely if that's what they decide to do then they shouldn't get involved in it. And they really don't need to ask other people where and how to get stuff.

And I seem to recall a couple conversations we had on proxies and usenet and private trackers and all kinds of good stuff. Oh, damn - I think you just called yourself a noob

All kidding aside, I do understand what you mean on all accounts. And I agree with you 100% on this subject and also 99.9% of the times I agree with you on this board in many other topics--I know you get the "likes" a lot on your account coming from me.

But at the same time, I was also hoping to remind you and others that "everyone" needs a bit of help to get started with something. Like when I allowed you to be able to PM me, when I compiled your first PKGs and then helped you figure out how to compile a PKG on your own. Oops! Didn't want to call you a noob also!

Thanks for always having my back on many things here Bahumatlord! -- Perhaps we need to start a new topic where we celebrate and show our appreciation towards him. Wouldn't be a bad idea to do this for some of the key people here that keep this place hopping (i.e. tthousand, tranced, bahumatlord, and even a few visiting admins and mods from other popular sites like bitsbubba, PatrickBatman, and GaryOpa)--I know there are more.. but those were just a few on the top of my head for now...

You forgot Jay-Jay And if BahumatLord wants to go on a vacation, that is always fine with us. I know when I feel myself getting caught up in the scene or the drama, a day or two away from the entire scene can be a good thing. Even better would be to get away someplace quite and reflect. I know I got a vacation planned in September, and I am looking very forward to several days in the woods without internet access.

I have to agree with BahumatLord on the topic of WAREZ though. It just shouldn't be brought up at all. That's rule number one on our site. And the main reason why it should not even be brought up is because people do not know how to mind their own business. It is hard enough to run one's own life, and yet people feel they have the right to tell others how to live their lives.

If you really want to break into the warez scene, which I was aware of since back in the mid nineties, just be patient. It is much more important that people make their own choices, and find out how to do things on their own. If you just give everything to everyone or tell them what to do, they will never learn.
