One question here. It says when 4.30 came out. I am running 4.30 (rogero) but no singstar. Whats up with that?

That is cool

But i would like better to be able to remove it instead. For me personally, the annoyance is to have an extra icon there that i never use, it doesnt really matter much if it is Singstar or something else. But now i'm used to it though, so i dont really find it annoying anymore. But i hope that Sony will add an option in the next PS3 firmware update that allows the icon to be deleted.

yeah besides my 4.21 rex, I've got an up-to-date ofw ntsc ps3 and never noticed any such icon...although thats not to say if I update my 4.21 rex to another 4.30 cfw that it won't appear (maybe based off pal fw?).

I have 2 PS3s.. one japanese region and other is CECHH04.. both dont have singstar :P
