Is how all good gaming systems came to be
My age a secret and no one can find out how old I am. Ha Ha Ha.
PS. Don't look at my username.
PPS. Thread already derailed
How are you making the codes? Memory modification with action replay?
So people are still interested? I dind't think we'd still see people interested in this. Anyone who's interested and wants to help out, by all means. I'm no pro, and the more the merrier. Anyone can help
This sounds pretty neat actually. I wonder if there will be any way to make requests for ps2 games that we want hacks and mods for? Since psx-scene is my only way to connect with any devs and I am not one it only makes sense to ask here and this thread seems the right place. I guess it would help too if there were a specific demand for the game in question which there likely is not in my case. One game I really would like to see mods/hacks for is Dynasty Warriors 4 Xtreme Legends for ps2. This game had a unique feature where you could play a randomly generated game and build up rewards while risking losing it all or you could opt out and save progress instead of risking it by dying. The random nature of this particular mode of this particular game has always stuck with me since I first played it and no other game has provided the same or even a similar experience of play. This mode was never brought back as it was in this game and I've checked all of them. Xtreme mode in the other Warriors' games was not like this. I don't know how this unique method of gameplay has been overlooked and under appreciated this whole time. I guess it's just because people get burned out on the hack and slash games so easily due to the repetitive nature of the games, however adding the randomly generated element to it really spiced it up in my opinion. I hate to rave for so long about such an old and underrated game but I guess it just stuck with me. I still have a copy actually which I've converted to play on my ps3 and it still is fun to me. It would be really interesting to see some mods or hacks on this game or maybe if there is some easy way of DIY mods that would be pretty sweet too. I don't know how to hack or mod anything but I do own the game and have a backup of it I can view on the computer and see the files, I just don't know what to do with them.. Anyway my apologies for the rant and kudos to the devs for modding the games in this list even if requests for new titles aren't welcome.
The Whole reason we did this was to invite y'all over. At many sites, coders or hackers or people who have requests are just sitting there. We want to organize and regroup. Instead of all kinds of other sites, bring it all down to one. After today, I am personally shocked at the amount of people just talking about it and the opinions stated. It proves my theory of many requests. As for you personally, no need to rant, many are in your shoes. I'm probably one of the youngest in the gaming community but I do agree with you. This will certainly not be the last "Hack Pack". If results keep going up, and people who want this are present, we will continue. Just kinda hard with everyone on different sites, but 2 is good. Also, don't disregard hack and slash games! My favorite video game series of all time is there! but we wanted to start off with requests we had already gotten and games with quite the bit to do

IF you can get passed the shoddy voice acting (laugh scene in particular), its an amazing adventure.
Don't Feed the Trolls.
The Final Fantasys were great games. In FFX, one thing I kinda wanted, to always have a FULL Character Modifier. To have the abilitys the same, as well as the model and even the Health Points. Fuzzymillipede's models were good, and the save editor was nice too, thing is, PPBirdman never released his codes out and it was a common request.
