I'm not too sure but I think Cobra hinted this before the Lv0 keys were released, so Cobra ODE has nothing to do with the keys those guys released... I could be wrong though.
Dean confirmed you can use homebrew with this, so no, It's not just for piracy. But of course, exacly like CFW, It's main use will be for piracy, that's pretty much how It works on every console scene. 99% of the people saying they're "backing up" are using the wrong term, backing up means you own an original copy of the game not that you downloaded It off some torrent website for free.

That's very amazing. Cobra won't stop to surprise us. It's compatible with all consoles. That means it works on consoles that can not be downgraded to 3.55 (first hack for them). We can agree something with them, they are bringing so much to the scene. Yes, nothing without money but every work must be paid, right?
And there's no need to buy expensive accessories for it, it's all features included where you need to buy the ripper and the command separately for 3k3y. 3k3y already built can just be trashed.
For interested people, I found a coupon code to get it at 99€. Just go to the official website (resellers page) and go the worlwide reseller (listed in Belgium) and enter code "psale".

It needs soldering for latest 2xxx 3xxx and 4xxx series coz BD logic board integrated to mobo in this models. Ps3 pwned totally (till current hw). I think they discovered to hack BD signals at last. It seems very expensive I dont think worth it. I only wonder it has additional USB or it uses PS3 USB interface?

I originally was thinking of getting it. Until I saw the price of it on those resellers pages. It's gonna cost WELL way way over 100.00 dollars......Who the bloody hell has that kind of money to throw away? I'm sorry I can't justify this at all anymore. For something that won't have homebrew of any kind, and somehow they are gonna get away with taking OVER 100 dollars from you? Nahhh...I guess I'm stuck with my useless system that I have to "pay" for games with. Unless I can get a job and buy a 120gb system I can put cfw on, which would be easier not to mention way more Justifiable then this piece of crap that literally only has ONE function to it.

Well, first of all, it's been said that you should be able to install homebrew with this device.
Second, I'm sure there are plenty of people that will have no problem spending one or even two hundred dollars for this, even if it didn't allow homebrew. There's a vast array of people in different economical situations, and a hefty chunk of them don't consider $200 very much money at all.

The only ones that would be able to install homebrew are the ones that are already on cfw since it says it allows installation on cfw systems as well. Yes I know this. And yes I am aware of the stupid people that have more money then brains.

I think DeanK would disagree. He has stated that you should be able to install homebrew with the Cobra ODE on OFW. If you think about it, what would stop a PS3 from installing from a disc? How would it know that it's not a newly released game disc?
