So nobody's gonna test this? I've heard conflicting reports about what you can and can't do after conversion. Anybody have 100% facts and not speculation about it?

I have checked everywhere and there is no concrete info regarding what this can do. Math at the dev wiki says PSN will never work. Evilsperm mentions that certain keys are missing due to legal reasons but also states that you can find them if you search. (the net I assume) Backups have not been confirmed using the DEX version of multiMAN. One can assume that original BD-R games above FW3.56 can run but not confirmed. And if you try converting you CEX to DEX you will most likely need Linux running on you PS3 and a hardware flasher is only needed should you brick your system or want to revert back to CEX. One Dev will say DEX can do XYZ then another pops up saying differently. Allot of pissed off people right now so I will wait till the dust settles and sanity returns to the 'scene'.

    EDIT: Some additional info ps3devwiki

Best thing to do in these situations is to wait.
Let the first bricks happen and the better methods to arise.

In a few weeks we will probably have a much safer method and clearer instructions on what can be and cannot be done with this.

If it really works though, might be what everyone was waiting for to unlock the PS3 a bit more. No more CFW needed.
