3.70 spoof serves for two reasons only.
1. To prevent your system from being accidently updated
2. To allow data transfer from an OFW 3.70 ps3 to soft modded ps3

Edit: on a side note I made a few minor alterations in NFWv2 (let's see if anybody notices)

the 3.55 link says 3.70 update?!?

also when i try to install 3.55 over kmeaw it says no applicable data was found.

then when i try to install NFWv2 unspoofed it copy's it over then when it restarts it says no need to update as current firmware installed.

i have the right directories i have tried usb drive, memory stick and sd card. i don't no wat do? should i try installing official from recovery mode? then do it that way?

If you are having a problem even installing OFW 3.55 over kmeaw, then perhaps you have spoofed your system at one point?

Took me forever to find this "Like button" you all was talking about Anyways, i have gotten all my stuff over to 3.55 and i am happy to say they all work...but 1 (OpenManager) Not sure why but it worked only once then after that i get a black screen LOL.. As for that game i had the problem with, It was split so i use a program to fix it and now working 100% woot This being my first CFW it's been Good for the most part, Some bumps but got them all worked out

ok i have installed NFE v3 all went well i have install lv2patcher_bd-region_changer-Nfw do i still need to installl BDMEU V2 to use multiman manager or is install lv2patcher_bd-region_changer-Nfw enough i have installed mutiman manager full package.
