Well doesn't seem much to me. Keys aren't changed. So you can totally decrypt this OFW again.

I don't like the mandatory part, is there a way to spoof Rebug 4.30 REX to a higher FW to avoid it pushing its self on my deck? Hopefully it just adds better support for PS2 classics with the new guide Captain CPS-X put out. A lot of games work but quite a few have severe GFX glitching.

EDIT

Enable QA flag and enable debug updates to ensure the update doesn't get pushed till rebug updates the spoofer side of their CFW.

I read about this just a few minutes ago. I was going to post something on the forums, but there is no mention of it on the Playstation Official website: PlayStation® : PS3 Just look at the bottom of the page. Still 4.31. Strange. Any way, let's wait and see what this represents for the CFW users.

on downgradable machines with a flasher, probably as they always are, I think flasher downgrades have more to do with hardware than software
