All fixes, this thread with nfo about pathes and all hard work from psx-scene is one big piracy. Nobody cares about legit games here, nobody buys retail games here. 99.9% of people wait for nfo about fix/patches because that's the way play these games.

You think people here are idiot and we all wait for patches because we make backup to protect our retail games from scratch

Fixes, CFWs, backup manager = piracy. This site is one, big quide explains how to piracy PS3 and everybody knows that, even you. If you want to be over the ground you have to talk about rules and show this site in good public light

It's simple. It's a site rule that everyone agreed to when they signed up. If that's not good enough for you or you feel the need to screw with me over it because I deleted some bootleg DLC content that he posted, then let me know and we can have a little chat - or you could just review the site rules and move on

I know what you're saying and I forgot say no offence. All what I want to say is I don't understand rules on site like this. This is not warez, we know that but this site is simply faq how to break PS3 and how to play piracy games and as you know everybody knows that and 99.9% here are pirates.

This site is like a nfo how to make a bomb. Information is not a crime, but making the bomb I think is. You gave a child a detonator and watch what he's gonna do next but you don't want to take a responsibility for that, only talking about the rules which are utopia and hypocrisy her. You know what I mean

@D4Ru73K, though you make good points. You also have to keep in mind that this site is not a warez site. Yes, we offer assistance and help to patch and fix games to be played on CFW. It's definitely a controversial technicality and perhaps a fine line between the two areas contested here. But we can't be viewed as a site that provides warez--that includes "full downloads" of games, ROMs, ISOs, and etc. Fixes and patches are fine, as long it is not the full download of pirate material. I hope this is clear.

In case you missed it: A few posts above yours, there was an incident that someone had posted straight links to either the full game version or a warez site -- that was the prime reason for the moderator's "bold" statement you then quoted.

Furthermore, our goal is to keep learning and teaching how to Dev, homebrew, and troubleshoot, plus keep our readers informed on the latest accomplishments and events in the scene. The psx-scene has been around for ages and has always been the kind of site that sticks to these strict rules, so it shouldn't be a great surprise to you or anyone that has been a member here for quite some time. I hope you can learn to respect that and simply follow our rules as they have been clearly stated since the very beginning.

And if you find yourself not able to follow these guidelines, then keep in mind that you have the freedom to patronize another site that suits your needs. There is simply no need to have a revolt or strike to make your case here. This forum will continue and prosper as always.

If I may? My word of advice to you is to never fight against moderators (from any site)--you will always lose that battle--trust me. And also keep in mind, that moderators have a job that isn't always easy, rewarding, or envied. They have the burden to keep the peace, as well as to make sure things don't get out of hand that would contest the rules that have been implemented by the admins and also forum owners. So don't take things too personal when you see them remind us about these predicaments.

Game patches and DLC are completely different things. Game patches let you play your games on lower firmware. People can use the patches on their legally bought discs. DLC content is WAREZ for the simple fact that you wouldn't need it if you bought the content in the first place.

What you're talking about with the guides and information is far from the truth. Information is meant to be shared. What people do with that is entirely on them. There is absolutely nothing keeping people from buying their games except for them just being cheap.

I know how to cook meth. I could give you a step by step tutorial on how to do it. That doesn't mean you should. It's not my fault if somebody's foolish enough to get involved in it

While I do agree with what you are saying in general, DLC is not necessarily warez, because ven if you bought, you still hav to download it from PSN, and right now people dont want to risk getting banned.

I will agree with you 100% but unfortunately this is the site rules (we all know what the patches means) I may not agree with some of the members here on the subject but I have to follow the rules. BahumatLord is doing his job Jayjay is basically telling you the same thing. This site is a non piracy site.

I really don't get it myself due to the circumstances but if you really wanna discuss all about the fixes this site is not the best site to do it but (the other site) will be the best for you.

I am also against the (piracy rules) but you just gotta follow them. We all know what CFW/Backup Mangers are used for and we all know what the patches fixes are used for.

The list is pretty good. I am almost finished with NFS (great game) I may play Dishonored or Far Cry 3 or Sleeping Dogs. Hmmm
