? the bruteforce tool that was used to resign eboots to 3.41/3.55 used the 3.60 keys. can that app be modded to use the new 4.21/4.25 keys? and if so wouldn't that give us all the ability to resign any eboot or update to work on 3.41/3.55? how can that be done? is it possible?

It shows fine in mine.

It shows fine on my Slim CECH 2503A running Rebug as well, but the game has been playable on DEX firmware 4.11 for some time now, and now thanks to this fix its playable on more basic firmware like Kmeaw. I assume your also runnign CFW or DEX firmware ?, what region is your PS3 or the region of the game your trying to play ?, and was it dumped from a retail disc or did you get it somewhere else where the files may have been altered ?. If it wasn't possible to region lock PS3 games, why is their an option to fake the region in the debug firmware ?

Having access to CFW and DEX firmware means we are not as restricted as regular PS3 owners, but trust me when I saw, if you own a PAL PS3 and are running OFW, you CANT play Persona 4 from a retail US or Japanese disc, full stop. You also cannot play the original US Blu Ray disc on a Japanese PS3 (the main reason the game was region locked in the first place) running OFW or vice versa.

If you don't believe me, go to the forums on Shoryuken.com and ask them, you will get a resounding NO.

You can update to the latest version. I believe we are at 04.09.00. Just install everything that says "CEX" or that it points to "3.41 or 3.55". When you download the base or full versions, there are folders that indicate which pkgs and extra tools you can install according to your firmware. I hope this helps?

If you are confused anytime, just find the latest post talking about the latest version, and we will advise you which ones to install. OK?

im on rebug 3.55 and i downloading wwe 13 and then the fix, moved them to internal HD and tried launching, kicks me back to XMB.
any help?

When it's a very new game, by trial and error. But luckily we can use informational sites that provide that info. Here are two good sources:

And also post a new topic in the "Game Backup" section for the PS3 in this forum--be sure to title the topic with the name of the game--it's easier to spot that way. Someone may come and give you the info you need.

You have to turn on BD-Mirror [Select+X] in multiMAN's game options in order to play that game.

Also try not to tell us about downloading pirate games in your explanation. That is frowned upon in this forum. So please be mindful of that. We don't really need to know.

Don't worry that Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City is DEX only. You don't want to play it anyway. It's just awful lol.
