Just to clear again, as Im alergic to false labeling,
Resident Evil: Racoon City was fixed more then a month ago for DEX.
This game DOESNT WORK on CEX. Period. Sites like ps3scenefiles should stop misleading people continuosly repeating it does. I worked on Racoon City for days.
This game just wont work on 3.55. So now you know the answer.
For anyone interested, I can release original fixed files with timestamp. I dont release semi-working sh1t.

PS - Yes, there will be much more games released for 3.55. Shame for NPDRM.

you should put a note on sorcery, install looks like it freezes at 92%, but instead it takes a long time. Fixing permissions might help, but that also takes a long time. I'm talking over an hour. If the initial install is slow up to 92%, it will take even longer. You want the install up to 92% to be quick or it means it will take even longer.

I kept getting impatient thinking it froze and had to manually delete the install folder. Well, when all was said and done and i just waited it out, i think it took like 3 or so hours to install.

There are plenty of reasons to stay on 3.55 right now, the big one being better homebrew support. I'm glad you've moved on to 4.xx CFW. Thanks for risking bricking your PS3 so I can at some point move there without worry.

Has anyone tried Persona on a PAL PS3 ?, id be interested to see how it works seeing as its the only game that's region locked, I'm using rebug but I imagine that a quick edit of the SFO would work.

Gotta laugh at Atlus, they region locked the first PS3 game because they didn't want Japanese gamers buying the US version with the Yen being so weak compared to the dollar. Fair enough, so why region lock the Japanese version as well ? , you would have made more money from the US players who wanted to import the Japanese version to get it early, and more importantly, gamers in the PAL regions were the game hasn't been released yet.

This is exactly what happened with BlazBlue, it took 10 months! before it came out in Europe and Australia, but at least the PS3 version wasnt region locked so we could import it. Now, the only way to play the game in these regions is to pirate it , way to fail Atlus

You're confused about the region locking. US and JAP consoles are NTSC. You can play Persona 4 JAP on a US console and Persona 4 US on a JAP console. PAL Persona 4 is for everyone else
