I haven't seen anything about people actually losing their PSN access. Maybe banned from COD server but that's separate. I had an early release copy and can't connect to CODBO but my PSN account is intact. It makes me think that the people that were banned were banned for other reasons like cheatingQuote:

It's common sens to stay away from PSN with BOPs 2 since it's not even released yet (was recently launched in NA, but not yet in EU).
You get to play games before others, the least you could do is f*cking wait for it to be released. And I heard of idiots using aimbots online already (saw threads on the official PS3 Activision board), the bans must be related if you ask me.
Good riddance, PSN doesn't need that garbage.
When I play online I also don't want my game spoiled and fcked up by cheating fa**ots.

Anyone else having trouble connecting to PSN in Black Ops 2? I can't get online with it for the life of me. Constantly getting a server down error.
Anyone also having trouble with PS3 sometimes randomly freezing their systems, forcing you to reboot? The game seems pretty wonky. I've even had some issues on the 360 with the game. It's gonna need a nice update for connecting to their server and fixing the freezes, I'm guessing. Happens way more often on PS3 than 360 though.
I can play offline though, and have been playing Nuketown Zombies and Nuketown 2025 against bots. Nuketown Zombies is fun but it'd be a lot more fun with other players because it's quite hard to start by yourself, unlike other zombie maps.
