Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City-PATBAT -
Its also no't working for me too
y u no fix Rocksmith?! The game is out a few weeks. i already bought the cable ^^ anyway i might update to cfw 4.21 as soons as i get my new hard drive
I never tested Raccoon City cause I didnt have the game (just original eboot/sprx given to me), I got confirmation from people it worked and then from people it didn't.
I just found out which is very odd this fix only works on DEX, it's quite odd. Usually any game on DEX (not on BDEMU with update) will always work on CEX, actually has a better chance on CEX cause on DEX sometimes you have to move files around or .psarcs wont extract correctly. Good news for DEX users I guess as it didnt previously work for them cause of a weird update.
CEX users can always bite the bullet and move to CFW 4.30 as its safe now or wait for duplex/unsane fix.
Considering a fix hasnt been released yet (RE ORC) I'm guessing there's more to it, than just simply extracting eboot and getting klicensee information to decrypt sprx. Prolly the sprx are called differently from eboot in dex than on cex, anyway im sure duplex or unsane will figure it out as I dont have enough time currently to rummage around in IDA to dedicate to do this.
Perhaps if it isnt fixed for CEX ill try again, but duplex & unsane have better skills than me. :)
the best thing is just to stay on 3.55 cfw for now :)
Sorcery at last :) I was wondering it.
I just thought of something, i forgot the eboot.bin file i was given was NPDRM, so if CEX users want to try and replace the eboot & sprx files in the sony 1.01 update while leaving the full backup with originals, its worth a shot, report back. EBOOT goes in USRDIR of update .sprx files in USRDIR/dll, dont know if it'll work but seems more plausibly being i forgot the eboot in the fix is NPDRM.
PatBat, at least you're attempting to get some eboots out, thanks for that bro.
As far as what the big deal was on Assassin's Creed 3 might be that the fix was released before the retail game. (never was much into that series but that's probably why everyone was so big on this fix)
Great job done by all and I have a feeling you'll be updating with even more games by the end of the day.
