Heres the thing it was changed because of a suggestion from Geneisis Plus GX developer Eke-Eke (in case you are not aware of the name).

So the change was made. you mentioned a specific game. So with that said a recording does help and is not a waste of time (at least i personally think that :) ). If you can't make a recording that's fine.

Squarepusher has informed me that he will release a 0.9.8.2 version with with 44KHz audio in the genesis_plus_gx. So expect that in the near future.

Is there a way to fix the boarder issue for example when I load up super mario all-stars with the mario bros. 3 boarder the game looks fine on the left screen but the reader's side gets a static like image and I cannot read the pages from the reader.

I havent seen this in mario allstars (SNES), because haven't mess with that title in a long time, but If understand the issue correctly. I have noticed what you are talking about on the SMB3 (NES version). but that is some flicker on the left side slightly.

What i do is use the overscan options and just over scan it slightly. but i play in full 16:9 so that may not help others.This is just on SMB3 i have noticed.

I think Nestopia and FCEUmm does this on that title but i am not completely sure. Personally on SMB3 i like the nestopia core i think FCEUmm on the level select screen its a bit fast. but overscanned slightly play the title very well.

Just be aware the bug in FBA core remains. When I select a Cave rom the buttons are still unresponsive. Luckily I have a backup of the FBA core from the beta version and copied it to Retroarch and the controls work. This problem is also present in FB Alpha RL.

Are you guys referring to the borders or manual readers?

To be honest, I'm surprised they even still work. I haven't used the PS3 version of RetroArch since June of last year when I was repacking them and Squarepusher mentioned to me a couple times that a revision since then may have broken the borders and/or manual readers functionality.
If possible, could one of you post screenshots?

If you played SMB3 you should see the issue.From what i understood the issue was a small flickering I will post a screen (soon) of what i am talking about or how i understood the issue. but could differ from what he is stating.

I think i mis-understood his question but will post a pic here soon what i was talking about :)

If you have to many roms in RetroArch, then your ps3 will freeze;(
