will there eventually be support for atari 7800?

Your the best one to confirm that for yourself.Quote:
Can confirm that if you have to many roms to browse in filebrowser the system will hang. I did hoped for that was one of the bug that was fixed : (
I can not say i know we will see atari 2600 support soon i suspect.. As that is already on the libretro library. It just needs ported to the consoles.Quote:

I personally asked Squarepusher for this a few months ago and he flat out directly told me "not unless you port it yourself, I'm not interested in systems older than the C-64!" even though I pointed out that the source for Prosystem 1.3e is freely available, and the 7800 came out in 1987, many years after the C-64. I wouldn't count on it being added unless someone adds it to mednafen.
I helped ZX-81 port Prosystem to PSP, but that's a a different system and I don't know how to code for the PS3. Bummer too, it's my favorite console ever.
Okay download is back up should work for
3.40-4.xx CFW if it doesn't please post here with your exact CFW details

The "fix" to the audio sample rate in the Genesis GX core is wrong. Sega CD audio has a native rate of 44.1khz, and the change to 48khz in this update has corrupted Sega CD audio. It's now very distorted and "splashy" like you hear on a low sample rate mp3.
@underball, Squarepusher contacted me via IRC after reading your response here:
Here is the explanation to why the audio samplerate is set 48KHz.
Quote:
<Squarepusher> actually Eke-Eke himself recommends 48Khz
<Squarepusher> audio gets resampled anyways whether it's 44Khz or not
<Squarepusher> it always gets resampled to 48KHz on the PS3 side
<Squarepusher> because the PS3's audio server is 48KHz
<Squarepusher> I'm pretty sure this is audiophile placebo
<Squarepusher> actually
<Squarepusher> it gets resampled two times
<Squarepusher> once in the core
<Squarepusher> and once on RetroArch's side
It's still wrong. Start a sega cd game with music in it And listen to how bad it is if you think I'm wrong.
Better yet, reinstall 0.9.8, listen Tia sega CD game, then install 0.9.8.1 and listen to the same Sega CD game.
Specifically, AH3 Thunderstrike. It's way off.

<Squarepusher> make an audio recording of it
<Squarepusher> comparing before and after
That's silly. I'm not going to waste time recording it for him. The recordings could come from anywhere and it would prove anything. If he doesn't trust the people who test and report bugs enough, it can stay broken. I'll stay on 0.9.8 and he can hear others complain about it too. I don't mind reporting bugs but if he's going to accuse me if lying he can go screw.
MM link to load roms doesn't seem to be working...just the core is loading..
For testing an FBA rom, MM is prompting to install FBA??
